New York, NY – GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, today announced a new headline bout for GLORY 29 SuperFight Series, finalizing the card scheduled for April 16 from Forum Copenhagen in Denmark.
Congolese knockout artist Zack “The Black Warrior” Mwekassa (13-3, 12 KO) returns to the GLORY ring for the first time since vying for the light heavyweight title in September of last year, taking on No. 8 ranked muay-thai practitioner Zinedine Hameur-Lain (54-12, 33 KO), fighting out of France.
An injury has forced lightweight Hysni Beqiri from his scheduled SuperFight Series bout with GLORY newcomer Harut Grigorian (41-9, 30 KO). Spanish striker Maximo “The Gladiator” Suarez (38-3, 21 KO) will make his debut for the organization, facing Grigorian in the evening’s co-headline bout.
